The mini-cruises in the Mediterranean are about to set sail. MSC has just launched a low cost offer to leave for a few days aboard its ships in total safety.
The mini-cruises can last from three to six nights and there are offers, which expire on September 6, starting from 149 euros per passenger. There are 12 different to choose from, all with different itineraries, departing between October and November.
The itineraries touch the ports of Marseille, Barcelona or Palma de Mallorca. A few examples? Climb aboard the MSC Preziosa in Genoa and set sail for the western Mediterranean with stops in Marseille and Barcelona. Four days and three nights on one of the company’s flagships which, when it was launched in 2017, was the largest ship in Europe: 140,000 tons and 4,365 passengers (which with the new anti-Covid measures have been reduced by half). Four swimming pools, one with a sliding roof, one for children and one in the private MSC Yacht Club area, 12 Jacuzzis, a 1,603-seat theater. More than 30,000 square meters of public areas include Vertigo, the longest free body slide ever installed on a cruise ship in the world: 120 meters of curves that take guests even beyond the perimeter of the ship, with a short passage overlooking the sea. And then, the Doremi Castle water park, on the highest deck of the ship, with slides, water games, splashes and fountains. In short, the cruise promises great emotions.
Another cruise is the one aboard the spectacular MSC Seaview, the largest ship ever built in Italy: 154,000 tons for 5,179 passengers (half the capacity here too), eleven restaurants and 19 bars and lounges, with a 360-degree promenade ° that runs all around the ship, located on the lower decks, so that cruise passengers can try the experience of living their holiday even more in contact with the sea. The itinerary is the same as the Preziosa, but the ship is a true masterpiece of maritime engineering.
It costs a little more – 169 euros per person – for the four-day and three-night cruise on the MSC Bright, twin of the Preziosa, which sails from Genoa, touches Marseille and then goes down to Civitavecchia. This ship is among the most luxurious and largest ever built, has six Swarovski crystal staircases and Murano glass skylights. Six pools, 20 whirlpools and bars, six restaurants, an “Aurea Spa” wellness area of over 2000 square meters and the reserved area furnished like a luxury yacht, “MSC Yacht Club”, with 99 suites, two private elevators, private pool and butler.
Navigate on another itinerary, finally, the MSC Magnifica, a record-breaking ship, which sails from Venice and makes a stop in Split, Croatia. This ship is so comfortable that it is used for cruises that go around the world, the World Cruise. Inside there are even a panoramic nightclub, casino, 4D cinema and cigar lounge.
