Lowa wins two awards for website

Outdoor shoemaker Lowa receives two awards for its website, which was relaunched in 2020. The Jetzendorf manufacturer impressed both at the German Brand Award and the Best of Content Marketing Award 2021.

In July of last year, Lowa launched a new website, and the outdoor shoemaker has now won two awards for it. The jury of the German Brand Awards awarded the website the distinction “Winner” and a “Special Mention” in the category “Excellence in Brand Strategy and Creation”. At the Best of Content Marketing Award 2021, which was initiated by the Content Marketing Association, Lowa won the “Silver” award.

“The global website of the outdoor shoe manufacturer Lowa combines products with stories and thus creates intense brand experiences. The website combines extensive storytelling with useful content and tools. With a new approach to the product page and an intuitive shoe finder, it sets a new standard for outdoor brands ”, is the verdict of the jury of the German Brand Awards, a competition of the German Brand Institute. The institute was founded by the German Design Council and GMK Markenberatung to strengthen brand management as a decisive success factor for companies in the national and international competitive environment.

“The awards show that our strategy of linking products and stories was correct. Our focus is on the intensive experience with the brand and the product, ”explains Michael Frank, Head of Marketing at Lowa. With his new website, the outdoor shoemaker wants to focus on the experience and surprise customers with numerous new features – from exciting stories to digital shoe advice. In addition, it forms a perfect starting point for a globally uniform brand experience. It should not only be the linchpin for all of the company’s campaigns in Germany, but also form the communication basis for around 75 markets around the world in the future. The new website was implemented with the long-standing Lowa partner agency Adverma.
