Lyon loses places in the ranking of cities where it is good to live in France

Lyon is only the 77th city where life is good.

The ranking was revealed by the Journal du Dimanche. Lyon thus loses 14 places compared to last year.

The association of towns and villages where life is good notes in particular a “dislike” for large cities. The podium this year is made up of Angers, Bayonne and Biarritz. Only one city in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes has made it into the top 10, it is Annecy in Haute-Savoie (7th when it was first in 2021).

Each municipality is analyzed on the basis of 198 criteria, themselves divided into 10 categories: quality of life, safety, health, transport, shops and services, environmental protection, education, solidarity, sports and leisure, real estate attractiveness.
