Maine-et-Loire. A territorial contract for the bed of the Loire

On October 26, 2021, the partners of the territorial contract for the Loire and its annexes and the actors of the Loire region will celebrate the operational start of the program to rebalance the bed of the Loire between Les Ponts-de-Cé and Nantes and will sign the new territorial contract. for the Loire and its annexes from Montsoreau to Nantes.

The new 2021-2026 territorial contract will finance the work of the Loire bed rebalancing program and continue the preservation and restoration of wetlands (arms, bories, etc.) linked to the river.

With, among the main axes of these operations, the preservation and restoration of the river annexes and other wetlands from Montsoreau (Maine-et-Loire) to Nantes (Loire-Atlantique).

– The conservatory of natural areas of the Pays de la Loire;

– The Saumur Val de Loire urban community;

– The Layon Aubance Louets union;

– The mixed union of the Èvre-Thau-St Denis-Robinets-Haie d’Allot valleys;

– The mixed association of Basses Vallées Angevines and Romme;

– The town of Sainte-Luce-sur-Loire.
