BEIJING (Reuters) – Mainland China reported a drop in new confirmed coronavirus cases involving all overseas travelers, the National Health Commission said on Wednesday.

The number of new cases fell, according to the health authority on Tuesday from 78 the day before to 47.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases to mainland China to 81,218.

The death toll from the outbreak on mainland China reached 3,281 at the end of Tuesday, four more than the previous day.
