The 26-year-old wants to leave United after two years at the club after dropping the pecking order and under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last season.

New Inter head coach Antonio Conte has earmarked Lukaku as a top priority this summer after missing out on his signature during his time as Chelsea manager.

Lukaku has already hailed Conte as best manager in the world and it has now emerged

Lukaku has reportedly reached a verbal agreement over a £ 180,000-a-week long-term deal, which represents a pay-cut on his United dare.

Selling Lukaku is not a priority for this month but they are willing to let the Belgian leave if they can recoup their initial £ 75m outlay.

Lukaku and the transfer hinges on Mauro Icardi.
