Manchester United’s victory over Villarreal in the Champions League has been handed over to former coach Soulshire by interim coach Michael Carrick. Ronaldo and Sancho scored in the first leg after Manchester United’s defeat to Ole Gunnar Soulshire.
Manchester United, who have won their first of their last four matches, are top of the Champions League group and have qualified for the next round.
“I told the players at the club that these days are not easy. I can enjoy it and I think this result is for Ole, I can not stay away from it. We used to have a job to do.
Manchester United captain Harry Maguire also commented that the victory in the match against Vieira was a great achievement. Maguire added that although the first half was not so good, the players who came off the bench put more pressure and were able to continue to perform the same.
Meanwhile, table toppers Chelsea are ahead of Manchester United as they prepare for their next match in the Premier League, confident of a Champions League victory over Vitoria. That match will be a big challenge for Manchester United, who have scored just four points from their last seven Premier League appearances.
