
Marbella celebrates an Irish music festival from the 16th to the 18th of this month. / on
It will be on Avenida de la Fontanilla, from September 16 to 18, with free admission
Starting this Friday, Avinguda de La Fontanilla will become the stage for the international Irish music festival Freedom Feile. An appointment with free admission that will last throughout the weekend. On Friday the performances will take place between 5:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., while on Saturday and Sunday the hours will be from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The City Council collaborates with this initiative that aims to “promote the integration of the different countries and cultures that coexist in the city”, as explained by the Councilor for Foreign Residents, Remedios Bocanegra.
The mayor has encouraged the residents and tourists of the city to come to this location where international and local bands such as ‘Secret Police’, ‘Dr. No’, ‘Black Jam’, ‘Sean Murray’, ‘Magnet Mand and The Attraction Band’, ‘Blues Stomper Jump Review’, ‘Joaquín Viera Trío’, ‘Art Club Band’, ‘Rastiki’, ‘Sugarboo’, ‘ Killer Rockets’, ‘Coovers’, ‘Stereo 80′, ’80ERS’, ‘5 Minute Memory’ and ‘Wall St. Band’.
