Marina Dénia launches the prevention campaign ‘A safe summer’

  • The first talks will take place on June 19 and 26

Marina Dénia and HCB Dénia have presented this morning the fundamental advice campaign for the summer as a result of the collaboration agreement that the hospital maintains with the marina and tourist port.

“In this area we live with a wonderful climate, with many habits of being outside and we are already in the summer season. Concerned about the health of all the inhabitants of our region, HCB Dénia has organized some talks with the intention of preventing and training on different aspects. The idea is to enjoy a good summer and do it safely”, said Gabriel Martínez, captain-director of Marina Dénia.

“A very hot summer is expected and that is why it is important to take precautions. The emergency doctors will be the ones who offer these talks and we will do them as many times as necessary. We have a collaboration agreement and in our aim of being a company at the service of the population of the region we have launched this initiative”, commented Ana Vasbinder, director of institutional relations at HCB Hospitales

informative poster

As a result of this collaboration, a complete informative poster has been designed that includes the Fundamental Tips for Summer, among which are those appropriate for a safe bath for the little ones, how to act in the event of a jellyfish sting, how to avoid sunstroke and prevent heat strokes and how to protect yourself from UV rays and prevent skin cancer. In addition, the poster also includes the basic products that every family’s summer kit should include.

These posters will be available at the Marina Dénia facilities and at HCB Dénia. In addition, both organizations encourage other institutions to join the campaign.

Talks with emergency doctors

Within this campaign, two informative talks will also take place on June 19 and 26 at 6:00 p.m., which will be given by doctors from the Emergency Service of HCB Dénia and HCB Calpe. The talks are open to the entire population of the region and will be freely accessible. Registrations will be made at [email protected]
