‘Married… With Children’ finally returns!

The studio has recruited the series’ main cast with Ed O’Neill, Katey Sagal, Christina Applegate and David Faustino to record the voiceovers.

Family Guywriter and executive producer Alex Carter will serve as showrunner on the project, which will be offered to potential buyers in the near future.

11 Seasons of Married… With Children

Married… With Children from creators Michael G. Moye and Ron Leavitt, ran on Fox from 1987 to 1997. The sitcom was derided by critics throughout the series, but was a hit for the then fledgling TV channel, running 259 episodes across its 11 seasons.

The animated project isn’t the first time Sony has tried to revive the series. In 2014 Sony developed a spin-off around Faustino’s Bud Bundy, but that was not a success.
