In Val Thorens, the measles epidemic has reached unprecedented levels. The Regional Health Agency (ARS) confirms us on Wednesday that the 25 cases reported in the ski resort of Savoy are confirmed.

She explains: "The so-called confirmed cases are those who have had a biological confirmation test but also those with a clinical presentation suggestive of measles and having an epidemiological link with one or more biologically confirmed cases. It is therefore considered that all cases with compatible clinical signs and seasonal workers are confirmed cases. "

As for the child of five months hospitalized for about a week in Chambéry, the ARS rectifies: "It was indeed a case of measles confirmed by analysis and which is now affected by bronchiolitis".
