Mirror Online reports that the Royals' side now has 7.1 million followers, much less than before the start of the night. It is the official report of Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Harry and Prince William. It was just one of thousands of accounts that lost followers.

Originally, it was assumed that the eradication could be part of the fake accounts of the social media platform.

An Instagram spokesperson told Mirror Online, "We are aware that some people have changed the number of account followers.

"We're working hard to fix it."

The biggest organizations and people affected by the loss of followers included Nike and pop star Katy Perry.

The sports company has lost 1.1 million users, and the hitter said goodbye to 900,000.

Many Twitter users tweeted their anger to demand answers.

One user tweeted, "I've just lost over 200 Instagram followers and I'm not sure why. I'm so confused and annoyed."

In November, Instagram said on a blog that he would take steps to prevent fake accounts from being used to increase the numbers.

The blog said, "We've developed machine learning tools that can help identify accounts that use these services.

"This type of behavior is bad for the community, and third-party apps that generate inauthentic preferences and comments violate our Community Guidelines and Terms."

The company added, "Since the beginnings of Instagram, we've automatically detected and removed fake accounts to protect our community.

This update is another step in making Instagram a vibrant community where people can connect with the people and things they love. "
