Men who exercise regularly can hold twice as long in the bedroom, according to a study.

Those who jogged, cycled or lifted weights for 40 minutes a day took about five minutes and 30 seconds on average.

In comparison, men who walk less than 30 minutes a week take an average of three minutes, and ejaculation lasts only 20 seconds.

Turkish researchers found that premature ejaculation was more common in sedentary people.

"It can be assumed that regular physical activity can help to achieve a higher quality sex life," the researchers wrote under the direction of Drs. Yildiray Yildiz.

Nearly 250 participants were divided into two groups, depending on how much practice they normally attended.

The volunteers were 18-45 years old, of the same ethnicity and location, and were monitored during sex for at least six months.

Participants and their partners used a stopwatch each time they had sex, from vaginal penetration to ejaculation.

Ankara Training and Research Hospital researchers also asked the men how satisfied they were with their partner after sex.

In a group of men who regularly did sports, three-quarters (76 percent) of the men felt that their partner was completely satisfied.

According to the study published in the Urology Journal, this number fell to only 56 percent in the sedentary men group.

CAN MEN MOVE TO BATTLE THE PREMATURE EJACULATION?

In an analysis of men's duration, none of the individuals in the group who were referred to as premature ejaculation experienced.

However, 27 percent of people who did not move experienced what researchers called premature ejaculation.

Men in the training group stopped between two and 25 minutes. While men in the sitting group stayed from 20 seconds to seven minutes, 50 seconds lasted.

The International Society for Sexual Medicine (ISSM) defines premature ejaculation within one minute of penetration.

The NHS says PE falls into two categories – primary or secondary – depending on whether men have always had or have recently developed the topic.

The causes of primary premature ejaculation are often psychological, e.g. Because of a traumatic sexual experience at an early age.

Secondary premature ejaculation can be caused by both mental and physical factors and is associated with too much alcohol.

Experts say that the condition causes stress, discomfort, stress and even avoidance of sexual intercourse in the individual.

In a number of other scientific studies, the relationship between erectile dysfunction and movement has also been studied.
