Metallica to Perform at Hamburg’s Volksparkstadion

As part of their world tour, the US metal band Metallica will stop at Hamburg’s Volksparkstadion from 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Two days later, another performance by singer James Hetfield, drummer Lars Ulrich and Co. is planned at the home of the second division soccer team Hamburger SV. These are the only two Metallica concerts in Germany this year, and in 2024 the quartet will be making guest appearances in Munich on May 24th and 26th. The groups Architects and Mammoth WVH will be supporting on Friday. The tour entitled “M72 World Tour” started in Amsterdam at the end of April. With their record “72 Seasons”, which was released in April, the US band achieved their tenth number one album in Germany.
