Love was certainly there everywhere Michelle Branch and Patrick Carney on Saturday night.
The singer and drummer of The Black Keys made the connection in New Orleans at the beautiful Marigny Opera House, which happened to be the same place where So long married Alan Ferguson Almost five years ago.
Branch's girlfriend, Anda, shared photos and videos of the social media wedding, including Branch, who was walking down the hall with her new husband, and Branch, who was accompanied by her father to the altar. It looked like a completely sunny day in the Big Easy, when the participants were celebrated after the ceremony in a brick courtyard with bistro lights.
It seems like a famous chef Andrew rooms was also there because he appeared in some social media videos and commented on an earlier photo of Branch from a trip to New Orleans.
The big day of Branch and Carney begins about two years after the announcement of their engagement.
The Black Keys drummer asked the question on July 3, 2017 about his new wife's 34th birthday.
"Thanks for all the birthday love and wishes. Last night, just before I blew out my candles, @officerpatrickcarney asked me to marry him, and then I had nothing left to wish for," she wrote a photo of sparklers and her stunning engagement ring. "34 could be the best year."
The happy couple announced in February 2018 that they were expecting their first child and Branch's second child. She and her ex-husband Teddy Landau I also named a 13-year-old daughter Owen Isabelle Landau together.
Branch explained in their Instagram pregnancy announcement that their wedding would be "postponed" because they would hear of "that little surprise".
She gave birth to her son Rhys James Carney on August 28, 2018.
Branch shared some photos of her big New Orleans wedding anniversary. On Friday she posted a picture of herself and Carney kissing in front of a bar. "Love is in the air (and tequila for champagne was a bad idea)," she said. The 35-year-old singer also uploaded a coozie from the famous butler shop Domilise's and wrote "we here".
