Microsoft Teams and Office 365 for the academic community of UNCUYO – Academic Secretary

The Academic secretary, after working together with the Research, International and Postgraduate Secretariat and the ICT Coordination of UNCUYO, makes the Microsoft Teams and Office 365 toolkit available for free (online) to the university and pre-university teaching community; directors, preceptors and students of the secondary schools of the University.

The objective of this initiative is to provide the community with tools that allow them to complement their work and / or study with interactive strategies and techniques that they can apply in their academic and professional development.

To obtain access, interested parties must fill out the following form:

The registration period is from October 2 to 9. Once those who are interested have registered, the Academic Secretary will corroborate the data entered so that the ICT coordination can register on the platforms at the end of the registration dates.

What are Microsoft Teams and Office 365?

Microsoft Teams is a unified communication and collaboration platform that combines persistent workplace chat, video meetings, file storage (including file collaboration), and application integration.

Office 365 is part of this platform, it is a tool that allows you to create, access and share Word, Excel, OneNote and PowerPoint documents among others. Its difference from the normal Office suite (installed on computers) is that all programs can be accessed in real time (allowing online and collaborative work). In addition, it allows access from any device that has Internet access.

In addition to these programs, there are a number of additional tools. From access to email, instant messaging, video conferencing, screen sharing, cloud storage, calendars.
