Microsoft will release a wireless headphone type AirPods. Reedus

Microsoft plans to release its own line of accessories, which will include wireless headphones. According to the Internet portal Thurrott, the device will be executed in the form factor TWS (True Wireless), which means the complete absence of wires. Thus, Microsoft is preparing a competitor headset Apple AirPods and Samsung Galaxy Buds.

Now the device is known under the code name Morrison, but it may be marketed as Surface Buds. Earlier, Microsoft released Surface Headphones – overhead headphones with active noise cancellation.


Not yet announced new product will also receive active noise cancellation and support voice assistants, including Cortana.

About when Microsoft plans to release Surface Buds, is not reported. Analysts agree that the model will enter the market before the end of this year.
