Miguel, who was nominated for two Grammys at the 2019 awards ceremony, has another reason to celebrate: his wedding. The singer got married Nazanin Mandi about three months ago and said "it's beautiful".
Well, does a singer play his own music at his wedding? If you are Miguel, yep. "We played a bit of my music, yes," Miguel said Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet of the Grammys.
"The right ones, of course, all dirty ones," he joked.
The couple's first dance was "Always and Forever," a "classic," Miguel said.
Miguel, who previously won a Grammy for "Adorn" in 2013, will feature "Come Through and Chill" for the best R & B song J. Cole and Salaam Remi and Best Urban Contemporary Album for War & free time,
In terms of collaboration, Miguel said it was about being inspired by the other artist since he was on his Grammy-nominated song, and "we play each other out.
Next, Miguel said he's always looking for musical inspiration in "personal experience and storytelling about things we go through, see and feel".
"I think that's the great opportunity and responsibility for artists, and I'll be one of them, and I'll do my best to do that, man," he said.
