Milan must sell two players to make way for a new right-winger

In addition to a centre-back, a midfielder and an attacking midfielder, AC Milan could also bring in a right-winger this summer. However, in order to do so, the Rossoneri will have to offload a couple of players.

It’s been reported that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will have a budget of €100m to work with this summer. This means that they have enough to sign a centre-back, a midfielder and an attacking midfielder of very high quality, if previous reports are true.

As reported by our colleagues at, they might have to raise some more funds to sign a right-winger, though. Alexis Saelemaekers appears to be behind Junior Messias in the pecking order and he has a starting price of €15m, which also would generate a decent capital gain.

In short, Milan need to get rid of one of Messias and Saelemaekers in addition to the exit-bound Samu Castillejo. Only then will they be able to think about targets such as Noa Lang, while the dream remains Nicolo Zaniolo (very high price, though).
