Minister of Foreign Affairs: all EU member states should implement the sanctions against Russia and Belarus uniformly

The officials exchanged opinions and ideas on how to improve EU processes in the preparation and adoption of sanctions.

The Minister drew attention to the need to strengthen at the national level those human resources that deal with the implementation, application and control of EU sanctions on a daily basis, as the volume of work has increased several times since the introduction of new sanctions against Russia and Belarus.

It has already been reported that Russia launched a large-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24. Western countries have imposed extensive sanctions on Russia for such actions.
