Missed training – now Forsberg gives good news: “Status is good”

The match is broadcast on TV4 and on C More starting at 21:00 – you can watch it here

At Saturday’s training, Emil Forsberg and Robin Olsen were missing and both had, according to the management, defects. But with two days before the round of 16 final against Ukraine, a positive message is now coming.

– Status is good, fully trained today. It was more of a precaution yesterday, there are no problems, he says.

How does the body feel after playing three matches in the heat?
– It is clear that you feel it some day after like that, but it has been closely matching all year. The body is used to it, you know what to do. It’s not something I think about, that it’s hard.

On Wednesday, Olsen received a blow to the neck in connection with a goal chance for the opposing team. Blue-yellow then had training leave on Friday.

During Saturday’s press conference, Janne Andersson said this about the duo.

– Status is pretty good with both. I’m not worried. We will see tomorrow how much they are involved, but as it is now, there is nothing I am worried about for the match, he said.

Sweden will face Ukraine on Tuesday in the round of 16 of the European Championships. Blue and yellow travels to Glasgow on Monday.
