Los Yankees de New York they beat the White Sox de Chicago 7 runs for 3, thanks to a good combination of starting pitching with the bullpen and team hitting.

Sluggers Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge hit the wall again, joined by another giant Joey Gallo, who also dropped it on the other side for a home run. Judge retook the lead in home runs in the MLB with a total of 12, Stanton reached 10 homers and Gallo little by little looks better offensively.

Gerrit Cole performs…

Gerrit Cole finished with a line of 6.1 innings, 3 runs, 6 hits, 1 BB and 9 strikeouts against a lineup with as many dangerous bats as the White Sox, but it did not go clean, Luis Robert hit him 2-3 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI, as did Gary Sheets, 2-3 with 2 RBI and 1 R.

Cole is now 2-0 with a 2.97 ERA, 36 IP, 46 K and 1.13 WHIP. He has certainly been refining himself after a lousy start to the season with multiple consecutive starts where he went out the back door against the Toronto Blue Jays and Boston Red Sox.
