MMA: UFC fighter seriously hospitalized due to Covid-19

Diego Sanchez, an American MMA fighter, is hospitalized following pneumonia contracted from Covid-19.

The former UFC star (19 wins, 13 losses) is in hospital after contracting the virus two weeks ago. Prior to the diagnosis, he suffered from “cough, vomiting, fever and pain in the joints.”

Unvaccinated, Diego Sanchez suffers from pneumonia and blood clots in both legs. He shared this ad on social media. We see in particular a CT scan of his lungs.

Aged 38, the American has not fought since September 2020 and intended to return to the octagons. But it’s another fight that awaits him now.
