Mobile screen sampling Check Wufei has the same effect as the detection of deep throat swabs

Dr. Rodrigo Young of the Institute of Ophthalmology, University College London, earlier invented a detection method called PoST, which can be more convenient and simpler than the current one, and at a lower cost, to detect whether a person is infected with Wuhan pneumonia. PoST is the abbreviation of Phone Screen Testing. As the name suggests, it uses mobile phone screen sampling to perform testing.

At present, Wufei tests are generally carried out by sampling the nose or throat swabs, that is, inserting a long cotton swab into the nasal cavity or deep in the throat, and collecting body fluid samples to test for the presence of Wufei virus. Dr. Young, who invented PoST, stated that his method can achieve the same effect as the above-mentioned traditional swab sampling as long as sampling on the surface of the mobile phone screen, that is, marking the presence of more than 80% of the virus.

In addition to making the inspection process faster, easier, and cheaper, PoST is the most important thing to reduce the discomfort of the inspector. Dr. Young said that PoST can also be used in addition to Wufei, other natural or man-made virus detection, which will help fight the next outbreak. In order to prove the feasibility of PoST, the Chilean start-up Diagnosis Biotech conducted tests for local schools and companies, and set up mobile Wufei test points. Test results will be notified to testers via SMS.
