Money against the climate crisis is flowing slowly and tenaciously

In December 2009, industrialized nations pledged to make $ 100 billion annually against the climate crisis. There is no question of that.

“The limited progress in financing climate measures between 2018 and 2019 is disappointing, especially before the climate conference in Glasgow,” says Mathias Cormann, Secretary General of the OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development). The organization has evaluated how much money has been made available by industrialized nations and found that almost 80 billion dollars were paid out in 2019.
