General requirements:
  • Credit application with all the data of the applicant and / or guarantor.
  • Photocopy of the citizen identity card or residence of the applicant and / or guarantor.
  • Statements of bank accounts and credit cards of the applicant and / or guarantor.
  • Proof of Income and last INSS pay stub of the applicant and / or guarantor.
  • Copy of a receipt for payment of public services (Water, Electricity or Telephone).
  • Open a bank account in BANPRO.

Requirements for financing the purchase of homes, land or construction of homes

In addition to the general requirements, the following should be included:

  • Copy of contract or letter of promise of sale *
  • Technical appraisal of the property to be acquired.
  • Freedom from lien, municipal solvency and original deed.
  • For housing construction, it is required:
    • Technical appraisal of the real estate where the construction will be carried out.
    • Work budget and physical-financial execution schedule.
    • Proof of land use and construction permit granted by Town Planning.
    • Construction plans approved by Town Planning.
  • In the case of used homes or home construction, registration certification of the last 30 years is required.

Requirements and conditions for foreigners or Nicaraguans residing in the US
  • Complete BANPRO credit application.
  • Cancel application fee for US $ 30.00 (non-refundable).
  • Photocopy of residence card, social security and / or passport.
  • Photocopy of credit card and bank account statements, electricity, water or telephone bills.
  • Proof of income net of tax deductions.
  • Photocopy of income tax, last 3 years.
  • Credit history rating in the US.
  • Express authorization letter to BANPRO to contract the services of an international credit bureau to verify the customer’s credit record. The cost of this service is considered within the application fee and must be paid with the presentation of the application.
  • Information of the person who will be in charge of the payments in Nicaragua (attach a letter with the data and signature of the contact person in Nicaragua) and / or power of attorney to sign deeds and disbursements and / or guarantor who resides in Nicaragua.

About the Property to be acquired:
  • Appraisal of the property to buy or purchase budget.
  • Copy of property deed, certificate of registration history of the last 30 years, freedom from recent lien and municipal solvency.

Of the Surety:
  • Identity card.
  • Photocopy of electricity, water or telephone bill.
  • Last pay stub or document indicating your salary after deductions.
