This Wednesday, April 22, Motorola held a virtual event to publicize its new line of high-end cell phones: Motorola Edge y Edge Plus. Both with Android operating system, compete directly with the Galaxy S20 and iPhone 11. Both models come with a screen with curved edges and 5G connectivity.
On the one hand, the Motorola Edge hits the market with a 6.7 ″ screen (FHD +, OLED), with a 90Hz refresh rate and slightly curved sides. Bring 128GB of storage, a CPU Snapdragon 765, 4GB / 6GB in RAM, 4500 mAh battery and Android 10. It has USB-C port, NFC, headphone jack and Bluetooth 5.1.
As for the cameras, the Edge has a rear camera: 64 megapixels (ƒ1.8) + 16 megapixels (ƒ / 2.2) + 8 megapixels (ƒ / 2.4). And a 25 megapixel front (ƒ / 2.0), well prepared for high resolution selfies.
For his part, Motorola Edge Plus It has a 6.7-inch, Full HD +, OLED, 90Hz, but enlarges its processing with the CPU Snapdragon 865. It has 12 MB of DDR5 RAM, 256GB storage, 5,000 mAh battery, headphone jack, Dual SIM, Bluetooth 5.1, WiFi 6 and more.
As for cameras, with respect to its younger brother, it adds a main one of 108 megapixels f / 1.8; 16 megapixels f / 2.2 wide angle 117 degrees and macro; 8 megapixel telephoto, 3X optical zoom. The front camera is 25 megapixels f / 2.0 and, like the Edge, this camera, to avoid the eyebrow or notch, is integrated into the screen.
Motorola Edge: price and availability
The Motorola Edge is already confirmed for Argentina and will arrive as soon as the pandemic allows. The Edge + is not yet confirmed for our country. Although it still has no official price, in international markets these mobiles will be priced between $ 599 and $ 699. It will begin to be sold first in Italy, in the month of May.
