Mourning: A former Hertha coach has died of a coronavirus at the age of 48

Hertha BSC posted shocking news on its official Twitter: former coach of the Berlin reserve team died at the age of 48 due to a coronavirus infection, Levent Selim.

Selim led Hertha’s quarterback reserve team until the summer, but when Pál Dárdai and his staff were absent in the spring due to a coronavirus infection and sports director Arne Friedrich took over the management of the first team, he also expected to be an assistant coach alongside the Bundesliga team.

Rest in peace!
