The story. During the night, a young woman abandons her baby in front of a drop box provided for this purpose. Two men illegally recover the child in an attempt to sell him to a family. But the police are also on hand to dismantle this child trafficking. One follows road-trip incredible with a gallery of characters, each more surprising than the next.

WE love
Kore-eda prefers the families we make to the ones we have. This is the case with this band of nickel-plated foot traffickers accompanied by a mother who wants to abandon her baby. Branquignols to whom we attach more and more because behind their scams, it is their humanity that takes over. In addition, this captivating drama is not lacking in humor and the actors regularly give great scope to the emotion.

It’s a little notch below excellent. A family matter of which we find certain elements but it remains a very beautiful film.
