Murder in Wiesenfeld: Würzburg district court does not allow charges against suspects

The murder of 13-year-old Sabine Back remains unsolved even after 28 years. The public prosecutor’s office in Würzburg had filed charges against a 17-year-old at the time of the crime in the “cold case” of Wiesenfeld (district Main-Spessart). But the evidence contained therein against the suspect is apparently too thin for the district court. With a decision dated May 2, the court rejected “the opening of the main proceedings against the accused,” writes deputy press spokesman Rainer Volkert on Tuesday.
