‘My last Twenty20 match’: MS Dhoni hints at retirement

Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has given a crucial answer to the rumors surrounding his retirement from the IPL. He said he would play for the Chennai Super Kings for at least another season. He said he would like to play the last IPL match in Chennai.

Dhoni said he had always planned his cricket. The last ODI I played in India was in Ranchi. As such, my last Twenty20 may be in Chennai sometimes. But he said it was not clear at this time whether it would happen next year or five years later.

After the last IPL final, Dhoni had said that any decision regarding retirement would be in the interest of the Chennai Super Kings. The Chennai Super Kings have hinted that Dhoni will be with the team next season as well. MS Dhoni has captained the Chennai Super Kings since the first season of the 2008 IPL.
