This is the first trip manned space that leads out to a private company.
Already aboard the International Space Station (ISS), astronauts Douglas Hurley and Robert Behnken, NASA, described this Monday in a press conference his historic ride on the spacecraft Crew Dragon of SpaceX, the company space of Elon Musk.
According to detailed Behnken, the first stage of their trip was more quiet than they had experienced in the missions of the space shuttle, while the second was “a little tougher”. However, the u.s. asserted that both he and his colleague were waiting for him as well. “The two of us discussed it while we were going up,” he explained.
“We do not feel the couplingso soft it was, and we all just mates,” said for his part, Hurley.
The capsule Crew Dragon, was put into orbit by a rocket Falcon 9 Space X, that took off from the Kennedy Space Center (Florida, USA), 19:22 GMT on the Saturday, and 19 hours after its successful launch docked to the ISS.
