NASDAQ Dubai today listed Sukuk of Sharjah Islamic Bank for $ 500 million and Damac Properties’ US $ 400 million Sukuk. Sharjah Islamic Bank offers a wide range of retail, corporate, and Shari’a compliant investment services across its extensive network, including asset management services and international banking services. DAMAC Properties also operates residential, commercial and leisure properties for its clients across the region, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Lebanon, Oman and the UK. Two additional transactions are currently being recorded by the Sharjah Islamic Bank for trading on Nasdaq Dubai, the 2015 and 2016 issue of US $ 500 million. DAMAC Properties has listed two Dubai Sukuk Sukuk issuances of US $ 650 million in 2014 and 500 Million in 2017. The last two issues of Sharjah Islamic Bank and Damac Properties are raising the total value of all sukuk listed in Dubai to US $ 59.22 billion, reinforcing the emirate’s position as the world’s leading center for Sukuk listings by value.
