“Comparing (former President Roh Tae-woo) to Chun Doo-hwan and saying that he is different is an insult to the citizens who have defended democracy and a mockery to democracy.”
Even within the passport, “I regret the decision of the head of state” and “I refused to appoint an advisor to the funeral committee.” Although it was a compromise to avoid the burial of the Memorial Hall, opposition voices continued, saying, “I do not agree.”
The Blue House explained that there was a narrow range of options to choose from other than the head of state under the current law, and explained the practical limitations as the background for the decision.
Even so, he dismissed the possibility of future head of state for Chun Doo-hwan.

“In the case of former President Chun Doo-hwan, I don’t think it’s worth thinking about the national funeral or even the burial of a national cemetery.”
The Democratic Party also announced that it is also pushing for legislation that can clearly exclude Jeon from the list of heads of state.
In response, People’s Power CEO Lee Jun-seok said, “It’s not bad,” but he said, “You have to be quite flexible.”
It revealed a subtle difference of opinion.
