The net foreign assets and liabilities of the Central Bank of Egypt increased by 157.4 billion pounds at the end of last year compared to 130.33 billion in November of the same year, by 27.07 billion pounds, compared with 109.993 billion in October of the same year, an increase of 47.41 billion pounds. Net foreign assets reached 642.96 billion pounds in December compared to 635.42 billion in the previous month, compared with 633.722 billion pounds in October of the same year, a report issued by the bank revealed. The foreign liabilities of the Central Bank amounted to 485.6 billion pounds in December compared to 505.1 billion pounds in November 2017 compared to 523.73 billion in October of the same year.
