The new Insider build of Office puts more focus on the sensitivity toolbar and patches bugs that have led to Excel crashes, among other things.
The latest Insider build brings some new features and a number of bug fixes. The first of two new feature updates affects Excel, Powerpoint and Word and affects the new sensitivity toolbar. With the labels, which can be set via the sensitivity toolbar, the self-configured compliance level of individual Office files in companies can be marked. In the new Insider version, the labels are now visible in the title bar next to the file name, which should provide a better overview. Furthermore, the sensitivity toolbar is now also displayed when saving and renaming documents and is available as a drop-down menu. Also new are notifications about compatibility issues in pivot tables in Excel. In addition to the notification, Excel also displays more information and workarounds for the problem.
Various bugs were also patched in Excel, Outlook and Word, which caused Excel to suddenly close or crash or load errors in Word comments. All information about the new Office Insider Build can be found here. (win)
