The ordinance to protect against new infections with the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 (Coronaschutzverordnung – CoronaSchVO) NRW of August 17, 2021 in the version valid from November 24, 2021 provides the following regulations with regard to the prostitution industry and the provision of sexual services:
Brothels / prostitution facilities / sexual services may only be used or visited by immunized and additionally tested customers. In addition to proof of vaccination or recovery, customers must therefore have a negative result of a rapid antigen test that was not more than 24 hours ago or a PCR test that was certified by a recognized laboratory not more than 48 hours ago (2G-Plus ).
Customers must also have official identification with them.
Operators of prostitution sites or prostitutes must at least randomly check the evidence of immunization / testing of the customers upon entry together with their official ID. The CovPassCheck app published by the Robert Koch Institute is to be used to check digital vaccination certificates from November 26th, 21st.
Such customers, who cannot / do not want to show the appropriate proof and / or an official identification document, are not allowed to use sexual services and must be expelled from the house.
Prostitutes working in the company must be immunized (vaccinated or recovered) or tested. Non-immunized prostitutes must have a negative result of a rapid antigen test not more than 24 hours ago or a PCR test certified by a recognized laboratory not more than 48 hours ago, certified according to the Corona Test and Quarantine Ordinance (3G).
A medical mask must be worn on the business premises and during the provision of services.
In addition, the general hygiene regulations apply. Contact tracking was abolished some time ago in North Rhine-Westphalia and will not be reintroduced by the new regulation.
