New drive-through testing center in East Montreal

A walk-in, car-only COVID-19 screening center has been open since Monday morning in the parking lot of the Pierre-Charbonneau Center, near the Olympic Stadium, in eastern Montreal.

The new center will be open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will only be accessible by car. It will be operated by the Integrated University Health and Social Services Center (CIUSSS) of Est-de-l’Île-de-Montréal.

For pedestrians and people with reduced mobility who wish to have a screening test, the CIUSSS advises that you should always go to the Chauveau screening clinic, located at 5455, rue Chauveau.

A mobile unit also travels through the various neighborhoods in eastern Montreal.

Wearing a mask remains compulsory for people who want to be tested, even while driving.

People with flu, gastroenteritis or COVID-19-like syndromes are asked to call 514 644-4545 to be directed to the right resource.
