Ramadhan explained that the position of the Police Chief of Percut Seituan would later be held by Kompol Muhammad Agus Setiawan.

According to him, the dismissal is a form of the Police’s firmness on the unprofessionalism of their staff.

He said the sanctions that would be given to AKP Janpiter would be decided after an examination by the North Sumatra Police Propam.

“Of course, it is related to his unprofessionalism in carrying out his duties. Of course this will be further examined in addition to administrative penalties. Currently, the examination process by the North Sumatra Police Propam Sector is ongoing,” he said.

For information, the Head of the Sector Police and the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Percut Sei Tuan Police were removed from their positions following the determination of the suspect as a chili trader who was persecuted by a thug named Liliwari Iman Gea in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra.

Both of them have been proven to have conducted unprofessional investigations because they named chili trader Liliwari Iman as a suspect. They have been officially dismissed as of October 14, 2021 yesterday.
