With a combination of Viagra and the flu vaccine, scientists have developed a new cancer strategy.
The non-conventional strategy, according to the Daily Mail website, mobilizes the human immune system to attack malignant cells that remain after surgery.
The new trial was successful in mice. Researchers saw a 90% reduction in the prevalence of the disease, and clinical trials were scheduled for 24 people with stomach cancer.
Immune cells play a key role in the elimination of cancer cells, but surgery stimulates the body to produce other antibodies that may impede the work of these cells. Hence, the role of Viagra and flu, which stimulate immune cells until cancer cells are eliminated.
Although Viagra and flu vaccines are widely available, doctors warn patients not to do this on their own and without consulting a doctor.
