NHL: Boldy towers in victory: Wild hold top spot

The Minnesota Wild continued to reign supreme in the Central Division after the game against the Seattle Kraken. Thanks to the 5-1 victory in front of a home crowd, the equally successful Colorado Avalanche are kept at bay.

Man of the match is Matthew Boldy, who scored his second hat-trick in five games (26’/PP, 34′, 41′). The remaining Wild goals go to Jared Spurgeon (16th) and Ryan Hartman (51st).

Minnsota stays on 95 points thanks to the win, just one point behind Colorado, who also beat the Anaheim Ducks 5-1. The Dallas Stars have 92 points.

The Minnesota Wild still have all the cards in their hands in the race for the number 1 seed in the Western Conference. The Vegas Golden Knights currently have the lead with 98 points.

The Toronto Maple Leafs and New York Rangers, who are not playing, also have reason to celebrate on Monday, thanks to the results in the other halls both of which can celebrate a place in the playoffs.
