The Philadelphia Phillies seek to continue fighting to advance to the postseason in Major League Baseball and to do so they face the Cincinnati Reds tonight at the Great American Ball Park.
Two innings had elapsed when fourth baseman Darick Hall hit the batter’s box to break the tie with his ninth homer of the season.
On a count of one strike and one ball, the outfielder took advantage of a breaking delivery to the very center of home plate to send the ball 395 feet. This was the Phillies player’s 11th home run of the season and his 56th RBI of the season.
