North Korean press stresses friendly ties with Vietnam
Radio “The Voice of Korea” broadcast on Wednesday 1is February an article highlighting the unchanging friendly relations over time with Vietnam on the occasion of the 73e anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) and Vietnam (January 31, 1950-2023).

The Voice of Korea Radio article points out that the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and Vietnam reflects the common aspiration of the peoples of the two countries, which is to fight against the imperialism and to strengthen solidarity and friendship in the common struggle for socialism, independence and self-government.
Relations between the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and Vietnam have reached a new high, the article noted.
In 2022, the leaders of the two countries exchanged congratulatory messages on the occasion of the 74e anniversary of the founding of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the 77e anniversary of the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam).
The traditional friendship between the two countries will continue to develop in the coming times in accordance with the interests of their people, according to the article.
The people of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea attach great importance to friendly relations with Vietnam, he added.
