Not only that, the term sedan was found in Italian, which comes from the word sede, which means chair.

In those days, sedan was defined as ‘a closed seat on a crossbar’.

Not using machines, this term is used for means of transportation that are lifted by humans on the front and back such as stretchers.

The word sedan finally made its way into England in the 1630s and still has meaning as a stretcher.

Over time, the first car called a sedan in America was the 1911 Speedwell, which was assembled in Ohio, United States.

Having triumphed in the 1970s to early 2000s, sedans are no longer a concern in the Indonesian automotive market.

This can not be separated from the vehicle tax which is quite high compared to passenger cars such as the MPV and SUV segments.

This car is also known to be owned by the upper middle class such as officials or other important people.
