The General Directorate of Passports stressed that, in order to enable residents to enter the Kingdom, they must not pass during the last 14 days one of 9 countries, revealing that the nine countries are: Argentina, Brazil, Indonesia, South Africa, Pakistan, Turkey, Lebanon, Egypt, India.
These countries are among 20 countries that had decided at the beginning of last February to temporarily suspend entry to the Kingdom – for non-citizens, diplomats, health practitioners and their families – for those coming from them, while it was decided on May 29 to allow entry to the Kingdom for those coming from 11 of those 20 countries, namely: the UAE Germany, America, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, United Kingdom, Sweden, Switzerland, France, Japan.
It is noteworthy that institutional quarantine procedures are applied to all arrivals to the Kingdom from countries from which entry has not been suspended as of Thursday 8 Shawwal 1442 corresponding to May 20, 2021, with the exception of the following categories:
Arrivals through air ports:
Citizens, female citizens, the citizen’s wife, the female citizen’s husband, the male’s sons and daughters, the domestic workers accompanying any of the mentioned categories, those who hold a diplomatic visa, the diplomats and their families residing with them, those who have a relationship with the health supply chains as deemed by the Ministry of Health, the unvaccinated domestic workers accompanying an “immunized” resident Immunologists, official delegations, air navigation crews.
Arrivals through land and sea ports
Citizens, female citizens, the female citizen’s wife, the female citizen’s husband, the male’s sons and daughters, the domestic workers accompanying any of the aforementioned categories, those who hold a diplomatic visa, the diplomats and their families residing with them, those who have a relationship with the health supply chains as deemed by the Ministry of Health, those whose health condition appears “immunized” and their companions Under the age of 18, crews of marine vessels, truck drivers and their assistants from all ports, the excluded cases as deemed by the concerned authorities.
The precautionary measures adopted by the Ministry of Health are applied to the excluded groups, with the application of home quarantine against them, except for those who are vaccinated.
And all those coming to the Kingdom “not immunized” must obtain a valid health insurance document to cover the risks of the emerging corona virus “Covid-19” approved by the official authorities in the Kingdom.
