Cologne, March 17, 2023 – The colleagues from the savings association GG-GIESSTECHNIK and the mini-golf club from Nümbrecht had not expected that. Over 1,500 clubs, recreational footballers, bowling clubs, double-headed teams, dart teams and many other groups took part in the “Verein
At first they hadn’t counted on a chance to win one of the three top prizes, exclusive concerts by Brings, Kasalla and Miljö. But together with many Nümbrecht colleagues, friends and carnival participants, a total of 32,033 bottle caps were collected. In the end, that was enough for a great second place and thus for Kasalla’s live concert.
On March 24th the time has come. The Cologne top band comes to Nümbrecht and plays for the members and friends of the savings association GG-GIESSTECHNIK & the mini golf club Nümbrecht. “A touch of Cologne dialect comes into the Homburg paper mill. “The concert offers a mix of friendship and fellowship, as well as a brief break from Lent. Together with around 400 invited guests, the savings association GG-GIESSTECHNIK would like to celebrate in a beautiful setting from 6 p.m.”, according to the letter from the savings association.
The CEO and President Gabriel Geishüttner is enthusiastic: “Wow, what an honor, we are proud! All of our members are huge Kasalla fans and together we did our best to get a decent spot in the Gaffel promotion. The evening will be a huge event for all of us.”
From 6.30 p.m. the Oberberg band BastRock will ring in the evening. They have been presenting unique covers of numerous classics from rock and pop history since 2010. This is followed by a short break in which Kasalla signs an artistic airbrush portrait of the band. It will then be auctioned off via gaffel.de and Gaffel’s social networks. This airbrush portrait was created and donated by deputy spokesman Franz-Josef “Tony” Platte (Airbrush Studio cpp-one). Afterwards, Kasalla will really heat up the Homburg paper mill.
“With our campaign, we wanted to support the work of the clubs with their many volunteers,” says Gaffel product manager Sebastian Lenninghausen. “I am delighted that we are providing a lot of joie de vivre with the Kasalla concert and are thus bringing many people together in and around Nümbrecht.”
All surplus and donations from the evening will be donated to local charities following the event.
On May 12, Brings plays for the winner of the “Verein
