At a keynote address in Japan on Thursday, Chief Executive Jensen Huang announced a new data center AI inference platform using the Turing GPUs that Nvidia first announced for gaming and graphics cards last month. Nvidia

Nvidia also announced new Jetson AGX Xavier high-performance computing systems designed for autonomous robots and other machines as it continues to seek ways to leverage autonomy away from automobiles. The announcement was aligned with the Japanese version of the Nvidia GTC conference and included partnerships with Japanese companies such as Yamaha Motor Corp.
