NVIDIA Delays GeForce RTX 2080 Ti General availability from one week to September 27th

Since the release of the full Turing architecture yesterday, NVIDIA has set the stage for the launch of the GeForce RTX next week. However, later that day, NVIDIA announced that general availability of the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti will be postponed for one week, from September 20 to September 27. Pre-orders were also affected and these units will appear between the 20'sth and 27th,

For the launch of the GeForce RTX remains the GeForce RTX 2080 as the only map set for full availability left, the RTX 2070 to appear in October. As a reminder, the RTX 2080 Ti Founders Edition costs $ 1,199, while the non-Founder Edition cards cost $ 999. The RTX 2080 FE will come at $ 799, with non-Founders Edition cards at $ 699. As always with new graphics card releases, you expect prices to be inflated for weeks, if not months, after the launch day; The recent cryptomination crazes and knocking effects only make the situation more complicated.

With sell-off sell-out days becoming the norm for new video cards, it's more of an inventory than anything else, as some pre-orders may still be on the 20th. Regardless, only the RTX 2080 remains listed and available on the NVIDIA website. Stay tuned for the next week's GeForce RTX test!
