Trainer Stephen Baumgart had an extension of Skhiri still considered possible in February and contradicted, “that we have already given up the fight for him.” Managing Director Christian Keller had a month later clearly more defensive tones sound. It is still unclear where the central midfielder will go. From the Bundesliga apply, among other things RB Leipzig, Eintracht Frankfurtand Bayer Leverkusen as interested parties, from abroad, for example, the two Europa League finalists FC Sevilla and AS Rom.
Ellyes Skhiri is leaving after four years #effzeh. The Tunisian international played 133 competitive games for FC and stood out in particular for his above-average goal risk and mileage – a look back. https://t.co/yeowzEZmV0
