Al-Marsad Newspaper – Agencies: Oil prices rose during trading at the beginning of the week, today, Monday, with investors evaluating the possibility of a rise in demand in the near term, amid fears that monetary tightening in the United States may lead to a recession.

Brent crude futures for August delivery rose 0.55%, or 62 cents, to $113.74 a barrel.

US crude futures for July delivery also rose 0.39%, or a value of 43 cents, at $109.99 a barrel, knowing that US markets are on an official holiday today.
